1. Can I please get my hair done here? Please? Seriously, that branding. Blown. Away.

2. I’ve spoken about my love of insanely talented photographer Max Wanger before, so it shouldn’t surprise me that his (belated) 2011 in review post was like an explosion of awesome. Seriously. Man.

3. Cute, fun, easy and affordable. Find out how to make your own business cards on Oh, Hello Friend.

4. I absolutely loved Growth: It’s Not All Grace and Epiphany from Scoutie Girl. The message: it’s OK to acknowledge that growth is big, and hard, and momentous. Love that.

5. Truth bomb alert! Leo from Zen Habits always knows how to tap into the things that really matter to us human beans and his article The Pause Upon Which All Else Relies is no exception. Hit. Tonne of bricks. I was.

1. Madly swooning over all the whimsical images on Bawk Bawk Bawk, like these dreamy pics from the Victorian coast and these New Years shots.

2. A beautiful story on saying no to say yes from photographer Brooke Shaden.

3. Find comfort in Tiny Buddha’s Take a Deep Breath and Remember post – such beautiful words.

4. Following an enthusiastic recommendation from Ally from Unknown Pleasures, Ramai and I watched Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory on Sunday, and it absolutely blew our minds. The film is the third in a series of documentaries chronicling the 18 year imprisonment of the West Memphis Threethree men who were tried and convicted as teenagers in 1994 of the murders of three boys in Arkansas (DNA evidence revealed their innocence and they were released last year). Thrilling viewing, can’t recommend it enough.

5. Loving this creative way of presenting “little goals” for 2012 from Pennyweight and Lark & Linen. How are your 2012 goals going? This idea might get you back on track if you need some motivation!

6. I’m on the hunt for some new and inspiring salads and the following recipes have been swiftly printed and stuck on my fridge. Drooling! Take a peek at My kinda winter salad from Oh Joy!; Roasted sesame winter slaw from My New Roots; Savoy cabbage slaw with papaya and pomegranate from The Alkaline Sisters and a delightful looking Green sushi salad from Green Kitchen Stories.

7. And while we’re on the topic of health, check out Jess from The Wellness Warrior’s organic wine find!

A bloggy friend asked me about responding to advertising requests this week, and when searching for media kit examples for her (can you tell I haven’t gotten around to compiling my own yet?) I found this great post from the Independent Fashion Bloggers (IFB) site from September 2011. 5 Links I’m Loving This Week

1. Jonathan Fields is a total inspiration and I was fascinated by his in-depth (and beautifully presented) 2011 Annual Report. Highly recommend reading this one or printing it out to read at a later date, it’s incredibly illuminating – and something in it may just take you by surprise if you’ve followed Field’s work for a while.

2. Cocorosa has a fab round-up of the Top 10 Fashion Blogger Website Designs.

3. On the wedding front, I’m loving this ‘Farmer’s Market Inspired’ wedding from Ruffled and The Wedding Chicks’ super handy Wedding Flower Guides. Click through for: white flowers; orange flowers; yellow flowers - and for even more, check out their Bouquet Recipes.

4. Big thanks to my lovely friend Claire for alerting me to “You Are The Map Maker” - a stylin’ ebook full of creative business stories to inspire. It’s brilliant, I couldn’t stop reading once I started. A little snippet from the About page to whet your appetite: “This is the start of a journey. One where you will be challenged to take your self-doubt, bundle it up and chuck it overboard. You have just downloaded insights from 13 of the most creative and resourceful entrepreneurs on the planet.” Go ahead and download it!

5. I was on the road the other day for two hours and I decided before I left the house to find some great podcasts to listen to on my journey. I love Gabrielle Bernstein’s effervescence so I went to iTunes, searched ‘Gabrielle Bernstein’ in ‘Podcasts’ and downloaded her Keynote at NYU and Manifest Your Desires lectures. Awesome listening if you’re looking to light a fire in your soul and get mega juiced up!
