I’m officially obsessed with Pinterest.

Don’t know what the hell I’m talking about?
For the uninitiated, Pinterest is a visual bookmarking utlity that allows you to create inspiration boards with images you love that you find online or images already “pinned” within Pinterest. For the obsessive ‘inspiration collector,’ Pinterest is seriously awesome. Tearing out pictures of pretty things from magazines, creating folders organised by theme and sticking photos up on corkboards has always been a favourite pastime of mine, and now instead of saving images to my computer, by clicking the ‘Pin It’ button in my browser I can add it straight to the relevant inspiration board in Pinterest.
I’m currently planning my wedding (which is on 12 May 2012, hooray!) and have gathered so many beautiful shots of dresses, table settings, flowers and styling ideas on my dream wedding board. Having all my inspiration in one place has really helped me refine my vision for the overall look and theme for our big day. In most cases the source of the images is noted as well, which makes it very handy for discovering new blogs to follow!
So, if you’re looking to get inspired by the sheer brilliance floating around the world wide web, if you like to stay organised, and if you enjoy connecting with others (you can ‘follow’ other peoples boards), I highly recommend requesting an invite to Pinterest immediately.
