I think it’s about time I shared the rest of our honeymoon photos!
The next post will be accompanied by some words on why we absolutely adored our time in Switzerland, but this one with pictures from the stunning town Grindelwald paints a pretty picture in the meantime.
Take me back. Please.
This house we found at random on Airbnb was everything we could have dreamed of and more.
Views straight out the window onto the ominous Eiger mountain, cozy-cute decor and our first “home-cooked meal” of the trip (granted it wasn’t hugely glamourous, but after three weeks in Italy, we were stoked).
Bliss.
Chairlift straight up to the mountain ‘First.’ A big hike. A crazy marmot. Snowballs. Love declarations. Spectacular views.
Just another cup-filling, nature-lovin’ day in the Swiss Alps, eh?
Are you a ‘mountain lover’ too?
Oh my word, I want to be there now! I LOVED Switzerland, so unbelievably ‘postcard’ beautiful, didn’t go to Grindelwald though. It’s on our list of stops for our big backpacking honeymoon next year, can’t wait :D These pics are amazing, thanks for sharing xo.
Jessie: You and me both! Teleport machine, anyone?! You should definitely check out Grindelwald, we were devastated we only had 2 days there. Your honeymoon sounds like it will be EPIC. x
Oh so nice that you loved Switzerland! I’m from there! ;) It’s funny how we always want the opposite…I’m dreaming of Australia right now! ;) Love your blog!
I have always wanted to do Switzerland for my honeymoon! I love mountains and I’d take them over a beach any day. Beautiful pictures!
Oh my… What beautiful snaps! I’ve always wanted to visit Switzerland and if this isn’t good motivation, I don’t know what is. Thanks for sharing!
Oh goodness, that little house is incredible. Looks like you guys did honeymooning right!!
Aweome photos Rach and such very special memories for you. BTW your husband is extremely cute ;)
Beautiful. And what a find that house was! Your joy in this holiday is overflowing through the screen. I was born among mountains and have always visited family who still live there. While I am a city dweller and lover but there is something about crisp mountain air, jeans, hiking boots and a fleece jumper that give me such warmth in my heart. And now my thoughts are taking me back to those mountains of my birth and a holiday in Canada Rockies. Thanks for the memory kick!
Oh myyy those mountains! Picture perfect indeed x
